This is the performance of A.R.Rahman (O Saya and Jai Ho) and Peter Gabriel (Down to Earth) at the Academy Awards. The 3 songs were united as a medley and the last one was juxtaposed with Peter Gabriel's Down To Earth (from Wall-E). 

The winning song was Jai Ho performed by A.R.Rahman and Sukhwinder Singh. Music: Rahman, lyrics: Gulzar.
