Colour noise

This is how my camera takes pictures of a blank sheet of paper at iso 102400.
(a joke that photographers might understand)

Cristi P. is a friend of mine who volunteered to pose nude, without even me asking. Well, since i had the opportunity i said i have to do my best, since this is a very good way to express your views photographically.
In my opinion nude photographs have to be anything but trivial. Subtleness is the key element and if you really mind composition and have patience to always catch the best light, you've got it made.
I haven't experimented much with this type of photography, but this is by far the best i've done, and i have to say i quite like it.

Sibiu (Hermanstadt) in July 2007

If you haven't visited this city yet, don't take your time, it's worth it, go now. It's great.
Hope you like these colorful images i've taken of this scenic place.

Oradea. August is amazing in this city. They have incredible storms. Once i was in a tram and a very strong storm hit the city, the tram stopped with passangers locked inside, it was a powerdown. Not more than 300 feet away lightning was striking the vast fields from around the city (i was in some outskirt of Oradea). But then you see something like this and it really makes you appreciate all weather conditions as something beautiful.

A realist's view

Experimenting with HDR. Taken from Hoia Woods, on a hill near Grigorescu quarter,  Cluj-Napoca.

The Sound of Morning

One morning after an unslept night (movie marathon) me and my friend Raul drove to the Hill of Feleac (nice spot to see the whole city) to watch the sunrise. We brouth along the guitar as a photography prop.

All the invisible children

Spontaneously shot in a train, i'm still amazed i was sneaky enough to take this without her or anyone else in the compartment realising. Mind you, it was a loud SLR camera...

Night Light

One of my earliest pictures.I've had my first camera for about 4-5 months when i took this, and it had no wide angle lens, the widest i had was 28mm (28-70/3.5) on a 1.6x crop factor. So it's obviously a stitched panorama, probably one of the reasons it kind of looks like a graphic from Monty Python.
I still like the mysterious lighting on the roof and the red tent in the bottom part, so until i take a better picture of the St.Stefan's church, i'll leave this one on.
