What is the deal with AdSense?

I applied Thursday, 48 hours they said it might take... It's been closer to 96.
I really care about this blog and i want to spend more time developing it and making articles, but A true motivation would be approval of AdSense so at least i don't waste my time, i invest it...
Any thoughts and suggestions?

    Sorry man, they said 48 hours for me and if it was more to contact them. They don't count weekends I don't think...so that may be part of it.

    Barely took 2 days ...maybe day and a half for me.

    I got mine within 24hours, applied next day in the morning it was accepted.

    About the HD3870, I have no idea about low profile, when I bought mine I got a huge heatsink with it (passive model).

    I hope it all goes well. I mean, even after you get Adsense approved, you'll still have to wait weeks before your PIN arrives and you're able to receive deposits from them.

    it took me a week to receive my PIN... it takes more than a month to be paid

    Well i think his problems is that he didnt get accepted yet. The pin problem , well i got mine in 6 months but all the earnings where gathered in the account and once i got my pin i got the cash.

    So hope u got your approval soon.

    i got approved in almost an hour after i applied, not super sure why there taking long for you, maybe it'll work out
